Well, I love dreams, and of course sleeping, a lot. Dreams are a topic which once you make start talking about it you can't shut me up.
So yesterday, I was reviewing my artists list in my iPod, and I found The Alan Parson Project, which I have, the "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" album, an amazing CD I must say, and I thought "Meh! Why not?"
I started playing the first song, and I heard:
"For my own part, I have never had a thought which I could not set down in words, with even more distinctness that which I conceived it."
"There is, however, a class of fancies, of exquisite delicacy, which are not thoughts, and to which, as yet, I have found it absolutely impossible to adapt to language.
These fancies arise in the soul (alas, how rarely!) only at epochs of most intense tranquility, when the bodily and mental health are in perfection, and those mere points of time when the confines of the waking world blend with the world of dreams."
"And so I captured this fancy, where all that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream."
Originally from Edgar Allan Poe "Tales of Mystery and Imagination"
Then this awesome (orgasmic) music started to play, which made my skin crawl, and the first thing I thought was "Inception". That was quite amazing! After that, of course, I had to do no other thing to do than to go to sleep, and have lucid dreams. And so, one of many awesome dreams was created that day (I have no idea what I dreamed).
